The Emotions

My love is lost in the river of sadness,

The tears pour into this swamp of sorrow,

Flowing deeper and deeper.

I am the tears I cry.

Drowning in the grief of life alone,

Without you,

Without my love.

The days are everlasting and cruel,

The same pain, the same misery.

There is no way back,

There is no way forward.

I am caught in my overwhelming tears.

Spiralling down into the river of grief.
